Our Pro Forma Budget
We are actively searching for our Mooney with a budget of $100,000 to $130,000 and have several targets we're exploring. To become a new member we expect that the following rates will apply:
Buy-in: $13,900
Incoming buy-in fees will include the costs of the plane, legal and admin fees, WSST, first year's insurance a thorough pre-buy inspection, title and escrow, tools and equipment and the cost to ferry the plane to S50. Members may self finance this with a personal bank loan.
Monthly Dues: $110
Monthly dues will cover the cost of tax filings, Insurance reserves for the following year, Annual Inspection, Tiedown space at S50, and Software, Website and other soft costs.
Hourly Usage Fee (dry): $31
The hourly usage fee includes the direct cost of flying the aircraft, including regular oil changes and consumption, and general maintenance reserves. Members will be assessed $26 per hour for future engine overhaul due at the time of sale of member's shares or overhaul, whichever comes first.
